Description: Located in a quiet position, withing walking distance to the island shops and the jetty is this beautiful weatherboard home, originally build in about the 1930's, this home is ready for the next chapter in its life. Moved to this location in Anne St last July, this home had been sitting vacant in Cambridge Rd for 20 years, forgotten and neglected....
Now is your opportunity to bring this wonderful home back to life. This could be your dream home, an opportunity to get in to the property market, or simply a project to renovated then re-sell, the choice is yours.
The Development Application and the Plumbing and Drainage Applications were approved earlier this year, so the hard work with Council has already been done. To complete this project you will need to be a licensed builder, engage a Licensed Builder to oversee the project, or be able to obtain an Owner Builder's License.
Recent similar projects have been selling on Russell Island between $510,000 and $590,000, so there is an opportunity to earn some equity in completing this project.
